Apple Pay FAQs

Setup is simple

Adding your card to Apple Pay is easy. Here’s how to get started:

  • On iPhone: Open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign
  • On Apple Watch: Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap Add Credit or Debit Card
  • On iPad: Go to Settings, open Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card*

When you add your Northern Inland Visa Debit card to Apple Pay, the card will be defaulted to the Visa network for payments with Apple Pay. To access the eftpos network:

  • On iPhone: Open the Wallet app, tap on your Visa debit card, tap 'more' and choose the network
  • On Apple Watch: Double-click the side button, select your Visa debit card, firmly press the display and then choose the network.

If you have added your Visa debit card to Apple Pay from the NICU smartPAY App, only the Visa network will be available for purchases with Apple Pay. To access both the Visa and eftpos networks you will need to remove and re-add your Visa debit card using the steps explained in the FAQ's.
