A large number of our Members have been receiving fraudulent phone calls posing to be from large reputable companies, trying to get access to their computers and accounts.

The fraudsters pose as employees from Amazon, NBN, solar panel companies, Telstra and e-Bay to name a few. They convince you to give them access to your PC and your online banking in order to either fix an issue with your computer and accounts, or to give you a refund that you are supposedly owed.

We urge you to please be vigilant when receiving such phone calls and DO NOT give anyone access to your computer, your online banking or given them your personal details. If you were not expecting a call then it is most likely a scam. If you are unsure, hang up and contact that particular company by searching the phone number via Google or the companies website.

If you believe you have fallen victim to a scam involving your Northern Inland accounts, please contact us immediately so we can disable your online banking access.
