Northern Inland Members can now make and receive real-time payments via 'Osko' as part of the Australia wide banking initiative New Payments Platform (NPP).

This new service allows Members to make fast payments to other financial institutions participating in NPP.

Members can send Osko fast payments via your Online Banking, Mobile Banking and smartPAY app. This simpler way to pay means you'll also no longer need to remember a BSB and account number, with the introduction of PayID.

Whether you’re paying a babysitter, splitting a bill or giving money to family for something urgent – the money will be there in minutes.

How to Use Osko

Ensure you are registered for Online Banking with a security token and ensure your mobile number and email address are up to date. Then simply request us to switch it on to your Membership so you can start making faster payments (up to $3000 daily from each account via Online Banking and up to $1000 daily from each account via Mobile Banking).

To update your contact details, please Contact Us or you can do it yourself via Online Banking:

 - Login to Online Banking, click "Member Services" and then "Update Contact Details".

Forget your BSB and account number. Get a PayID

A PayID is something easy to remember — like your mobile phone number, email address or ABN — that you register with Northern Inland and link to your 'S' accounts. Then when someone needs to pay you, you simply give them your PayID instead of your BSB and account number.

And if you need to pay someone who has registered for Pay ID, you'll only need their PayID to transfer money almost instantly to them. PayID. Simple as.

  • Remembering bank details is enough to give anyone a ‘goldfish’ moment – seriously, who can
    remember their BSB and account numbers? A PayID can be something easy to remember like your
    mobile number, email address or ABN.

Simpler to Get Right

  • If you've ever worried about sending money to the wrong account, PayID can help. Use a PayID with a service like Osko and the name of the person who owns that PayID is shown before you approve the payment. All you have to do is to confirm it's the right person.

  • Sharing your PayID couldn’t be simpler, because it’s easy to remember for both you and the person
    you’re sharing it with.
