  What is my daily contactless (payWave/Tap&Go) limit with my Visa Debit?
  • Maximum payWave transaction amount is normally $100 per transaction, but due to Covid-19 the industry has increased the limit to $200 per transaction, until further notice . Any amount above this will require you to enter your PIN or insert your card and use your PIN.
  • Maximum of 15 payWave transactions can be made per day
  • Maximum total amount spent with payWave per day is $250
If these limits are reached, you need to insert your card and use your PIN. Please note, you could be charged transaction fees for making contactless transactions with some merchants. When using your Visa Debit card, insert your card and select 'Credit' or 'Visa Debit' to ensure that it is a fee-free transaction.

 

  What if my Debit Card is lost or stolen?

If you believe your card has been misused, lost or stolen or the PIN has become known to someone else, you have 2 options:
If you have our smartPAY App you can report your card lost or stolen, block (and unblock your card if you find it again) and change your PIN.
If you don't have our smartPAY App, you must contact us as soon as possible on 02 6763 5111, or visit your branch.
